I think I understand it now. I was trying to show Gull that door / wall that comes down on e1m2 that lets out the knights, as the lip sometimes would show some lines in it, but was not able to get it to show. I did see the effect I was looking for there on e1m6 where a megahealth which is a BSP mode...

On the colors - Well I thought this issue was more to do with the eng server side and what kind of client connects to it. To a degree, yea. I suggested to Foq last night perhaps a revive player feature would come in handy. He said that you can just respawn, so would be irrelevent, but from a teamplay standpoint, it would add another dimension during melee...as monsters continue past corpses and onto the remaining playe...

So , Pieface also noticed a water problem besides me...and was using PQ, I think it was on the Wizards Manse map. I could not see the problem, but I was playing with alternate textures in I believe a dev dir of my own, or maybe Yellow No.5's texture pack, not sure. Things are touchy for sure with DP...

fw = firewall. Usually most common mistake is opening up port 26000 for UDP to the world. If he has other Q servers on that IP, most likely hes already using port 26000 for one of them. If you have access tot he servers command prompt you can check the port by typing port. If hes got no fw running t...

Heya - Just ran into Gunter on shmack. My Quake player name is Cobalt. Yea cant connect here either. Might be the fw port is closed?
